A while back I asked for prayer for housing while in the US this summer. That has been answered, but not directly. Robyn is going to stay here in Malaga during July while the rest of us travel to the US. She is going to take a month-long course on teaching English as a foreign language. It would be rather difficult for her to complete the course work with the rest of us around, so this works out quite well. It will also work out better for us to stay with her parents, and of course they are thrilled to have grandkids around. Robyn will join us in Kansas in August. When you prayed about housing, you were really praying for God's direction for the summer, and that has been made clear.
Speaking of the summer, I will be traveling to visit our supporting churches, as well as contacting people about supporting our work financially. Pray that God will lead me as I plan and schedule. My goal is that people will be challenged and encouraged hearing about our work. Of course, all of us look forward to seeing grandparents and cousins and friends. And I look forward to seeing you. We will be in the US the months of July and August.
Our director recently returned from his time in the US so I relinquished my role as acting director. I am grateful for your prayers and feel I was able to keep things together and moving forward. I was glad for the opportunity to serve, but I really appreciate Dan Lippincott's leadership and that he is back at his desk.
To-do / prayer items for the coming days.
- Finish editing prayer videos about the Catalonia region
- Review footage filmed in the Navarra region.
- Jack has a fencing tournament on Saturday and I am giving rides to a few other people. Pray for spiritual conversations.
- Oversee updates to Unreached Towns in Spain web sites.
Thanks so much for praying. Our family, our work, and the country of Spain need it.
