What a great day yesterday! Not only did we see one of our distant missionaries, which was encouraging. Not only did we have great worship, which was encouraging. But we had someone come to faith in our service yesterday, Aaron, which was very encouraging!
When the elders fasted and prayed we knew one of our goals and requests to God had be to see ADULT conversions coming from the Grace family. We have now seen 3 people over the past 6-7 months come to know Jesus! Praise His name!
Pray for Aaron. He has been a believer now for less than 24 hours. You know that our great enemy would like nothing better than to destroy him. Pray that the Holy Spirit would work to assure him of his salvation, guide him away from sin and into pray and Scripture, and that he might be empowered for ministry. Cover our new brother in prayer.
Also pray for Grace. Acts 9:31 was impressed upon me today. It says, "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase." Pray that we may enjoy peace. That God may build us up. That we may have a proper fear of the Lord. That we might find comfort in the Holy Spirit. And that we may continue to increase, especially in new converts like Aaron!
Humbled & Overjoyed,
